I agree with this dude about the jewelry, etc. I have traveled a few times with my friend, and he wears 2 bangles, a necklace, 2 rings, a watch and a belt; he always has change in his pockets and a cell phone. He always waits until check-point to take this stuff off. It takes him a half-hour to take it all off, and while i zip through, he's still there taking off, looking confused, still buzzing when he goes through the security check, then putting back on, and looking flustered while people whiz by him. i have tried to encourage him to do this stuff before hand, but no luck so far. next time though, i'll make sure he's all packed up like the photo above. that makes life at the airport so much more liveable! on our last trip, i went to our destination and arrived back home to the airport, and there he was still standing there collecting all his stuff (just kidding). but really, this info was very helpful. thanks.

Personally, I support(buy albums, concert tickets, paraphernalia and such) those lyricists who are both eloquent, witty, and well produced. If done right, it can be a club banger too! I feel that Waka Flocka's only "toot'n it and boot'n it." He knows he has no longevity and that he can't compete. Let him get his piece of pie, I just hope savvy listeners don't buy his music or go to his shows.

Where do you even get to see music videos anymore? MTV don't even call themselves "Music Television" anymore! It's hard to see decent videos like this one unless you go looking or hear about them on blogs like this.

Hello -

Just happened upon your website by chance and although I've long since graduated college, I think your information is great for any age - your 30 day plan is a really great idea, it's made me rethink how to set my goals in the future. Thanks - and keep up the good work.

Let's see, Common, Kanye, Em, Mos Def, Nas, Talib... all dope lyrisist all not brok... well maybe Mos but thats only because he has like 30 kids... but I digress. The point is this MUSIC, MCing & RAPPING... all forms of ART! Art is produced out of love, it's purpose is to tell a story, to relate to the masses,to teach and to be a form of self expression for the artist. For a real artist... it is not primarily about the money... it can't be. Just because hot beats and crys of "BURR" and "YEAAAAAA" sell does not make it good. CRACK SELLS, DOES IT MAKE IT GOOD?

I am shocked at how backwards we are moving as a country. How can AZ eliminate ethnic studies programs and why would they want to? Today AZ, tomorrow..... Why has the majority of us become so complacent? Guess "they" aren't going to be satisfied until another 60's & 70's mentality occurs where the young people are going to get fed up and unable to take it anymore. You definitely captured the rally in photos. The pictures say it all, but there's much more to be done. Who's going to do it? And when? More questions than answers.
